About Us

Compassion North Incorporated was originally founded as Roxburgh Park Community Church Facilitation Ministries Inc in 2008, which was then a small registered charity that was granted deductible gift-recipient status by the Australian Taxation Office. Its first major community-based initiative was a foodbank providing quality food free of charge to disadvantaged families in the Hume municipality.

The foodbank quickly grew in size. In addition to the foodbank, two Men’s Sheds were also established (see below). Another foodbank was established at Wallan in 2018. The list of community projects continued to expand.

In 2019 the charity changed structure and was renamed Compassion North Incorporated.

Compassion North is committed to creating, encouraging and sponsoring all kinds of community-based programs by,

Raising funds
Training volunteers
